About The Instructor.
Kari Kohal has been a specialty insurance broker for over 16 years, with 6 of those years in executive management as President of an International brokerage firm.
She started her career in the mailroom of an insurance brokerage company. On the first day, she didn't even know what an endorsement was and couldn't say with confidence what a deductible was!

In a matter of 10 years, she became a multiple award-winning insurance broker, growing her book by over 300% in revenue for 5 consecutive years. She was also a production team lead managing the largest book of business at the company and ultimately an award-winning leader as president of an international brokerage company.

Kari holds a bachelor's in business administration degree (BBA), a master's in business administration degree (MBA), an associate in insurance (AINS) designation, and a business coach certification.
After 16 years in the insurance industry, she noticed a lack of relatable and practical sales support for insurance professionals looking to grow their brand and, ultimately, their book of business. There is a lot of career growth and sales advice out there, but it is hard to relate to it and implement it as an insurance professional.
